Something really powerful to engage children in the learning proccess is to engage them fully in the
co construction of success criteria. Children are hard on themselves with their own expectations so will be more powerful than us telling them as they own it.
Children need to have ownership of their learning and next steps.

Failure is valuable learning and should be encouraged with risk taking and reflection.

Am I allowing for divergent thinking across class discussions or aiming to get the answers I am thinking of at the time because of time and planning expectations?

Inspire every child to be the best they can be. Inspire diversity and self belief.
